This is neat! Bookmarking this. Not sure what you’re using on the backend, but are you open to contributions for more detailed descriptions?

I was mostly making a joke, but I’m not sure how you came to that conclusion. Most of the internet is reactions to things.

You’re correct, but this is pretty much “Statistics 101”. Granted most people are really bad at interpreting statistics, but I recommend looking at Backblaze reports because nothing else really comes close.

Sure, YMMV for any statistical study but it’s also the best source that exists for stats on consumer Hard Drives tested at scale.

1. Seagate drives are generally way more reliable now than the pre-TB days.
2. There is always a risk of premature failure with all hard drives (see the bathtub curve). You should never have only one copy of any data you aren’t okay with losing.

FYI: Backblaze is a cloud storage provider that uses HDDs at scale, and they publish their statistics every year regarding which models have the highest and lowest failure rates.

This is still extremely bad for the industry, regardless of whether you personally use it.

No one is saying that. Two governments can be wrong simultaneously.

Tell them it was lost/stolen. Don't dispute any existing charges, but for security reasons they should still block any new charges made against the old card.

I’m curious, what games have you tried that don’t work in Linux?

Perhaps I’m just lucky but it rarely happens to me these days.

I’m sure there are exceptions… I haven’t tried every game. But most games in my Steam library work with 0 tinkering, and the rest usually just require setting a few launch options.

The only games I haven’t been able to get working at all are Riot games (vanguard anti-cheat is a b) and the VR mods for HL2.

I don’t know about Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen, but Marvel Rivals worked fine out of the box for me.

The only titles that don't work are the ones with kernel level anti-cheat, and that needs to die anyway.
