  • What an incredibly privileged and sheltered life. Tell me how I know you're the uptight guy people avoid. You completely misunderstand the whole point that like 90% of the people don't understand politics and just repeat what's in the environment around them, they're regular ass people you have zero empathy for. You're falling on deaf ears immediately treating these people as inferior.

  • That's dumb as fuck. Imagine having a regular conversation at work with someone, they just casually mention something conservative, and then you act like a socially incompetent weirdo and fell them they're posturing for genocide. You're not going to look like the sane one here, and this would have the conservative looking normal.

If you want to say there's no good conservatives, you need to be consistent. This is when you need to realize you're far too deep into the echo chamber and lost all contact with normal every day people. When you start imaging this behavior in normal every day scenarios with regular people that have little understanding of politics, you'll realize how unhinged the behavior you're proposing is.

  • Less bloat and the direction of the browser. They've been around forever and they have a consistent track record. Vivaldi is a good example of why it's bad to cram every single feature into a browser creates clutter. Not to mention you're supporting the only non-Chromium browser, which we're seeing the disastrous effects of their monopoly pushing user harmful changes.

  • I'm so scared to be seen, that I can't even go for a walk. I also want to get skateboard, but I can't for the same reason. I'm terrified to be seen alone, or just seen in general.

Yet despite this, somehow I'm the opposite of that and manage a bunch of girls with compete confidence when I'm at work. I also have to deal with a ton of customers and don't even hesitate to say no or let them have negative judgement to me. I'm very socially competent and meet new people all the time without fear of rejection and opening up. I definitely stand out, in a good way.

Yet I'm scared of them simply watching me going for a walk outside??

  • You're given a very reasonable and next to no effort choice. You're choosing against that and choosing to hurt yourself by not picking that option. Except in this case you're also hurting others around you. It's like you're suggesting it's the grounds fault that she died when she choose to launch herself off the cliff, she could've just taken the paved road for no effort.

  • The entire point of webp is compression for the web, it's literally in the name. It compresses much better then jpeg, which is the point of why it was created. All modern image viewers can handle webp just fine.

  • Sure, if you act like the mastodon users who are holier-than-thou preachy, yet are the harmful capitalists that create the problems they preach against. They're toxic. Not to right wingers, but to other left wingers. If you're new to these politics outside of America, I'm not right wing btw, I'm more left then they are which is why I'm not capitalist.

  • I never felt it was too complicated, though the people unfamiliar with decentralization definitely get confused by the process of on boarding. The lack of content is still the issue for a lot of reasons. Mastodon's search is straight up broken. Also it doesn't show federations of users you're following, it can definitely extend it's social graph a lot more. They intentionally nerf it for dumb reasons thinking it somehow marginalizes people, it makes no sense.

Lemmy does do this and is why it feels a lot more exciting on Lemmy. It's also why I pretty much abandoned Mastodon since most of my time is on Lemmy at this point.
