Quite a few companies here cover the cost of the 49€ ticket so lots of people effectively get it for free.

Y'all should look into Chocolate Salami, those are also pretty easy to poopify.

I've seen more and more artists doing this kind of thing themselves lately. I think in the past artists were more upset with people making more successful versions of their songs just by speeding it up and found it would not be as intended if they released it like that themselves.

Plus, saturation is probably something to consider, if you make a sped up, a remix and whatever else for every single song you release your original, thought out pieces will get a little lost in the noise.

That would really spice things up on The Maurey Show.

Being vegan isn't about being "closer to what nature intended", it's about reducing cruelty and harm as much as practicable/possible.

I just recently closed about 2,000 tabs across 3 Firefox windows. Takes about 29GB of my 32GB RAM and a couple minutes to close any of the larger windows.

I think the difference is that I have experienced a lot of people engaging constructively with comments that they definitely wouldn't have on reddit.

(Not that they would have reacted badly, they just wouldn't have gotten responses at all)

I think in the email they sent out they mentioned that each IP would be able to download 5 per 24 hours and "registered users" 10 per 24 hours. Paid members would be restricted to 1,000 per 24 hours.

It's 15 bucks a year for VIP, if I understood it correctly, then I am of the opinion there is nothing here to get mad about for "regular users".

It's not competition if everyone has exclusivity contracts on all the content. Take Spotify vs Netflix for example. Spotify will have mostly the same base content as Apple Music, Deezer, what have you. With Netflix... You don't get any Disney movies, no game of thrones, you have to buy all of the services to get access to even just the content you want.

I've never felt I was missing out on anything with Spotify, as I likely wouldn't with YouTube music either. Maybe some have less but it's at least a very comparable catalogue across the board.

I think the entire boom it had was from regular people, people who specifically weren't knowledgeable about crypto.

I am almost certainly underestimating everything when I'm talking about dev stuff. Was a genuine question :) Was just wondering what the alternatives would be if he's not accepting any PRs and doesn't have time to find more "core-developers". Would the project just die? I love flow but deezer's music variety is just really lacking compared to Spotify or YouTube music for me, unfortunately. I want to love it!

I think for many people at this point it's just spite. I know it is to some extent with me. They removed so many things that I now have to use extensions to fix anyway (can't set a predefined quality preference, can't remove shorts, removed dislike) and you can't even get that stuff when you do pay for it. At that point I may just run the 5th extension to remove ads as well and have a better experience than if I were simply a paying customer.

I think the higher Bitrate 1080p is the single biggest draw for me. But now I'm spiteful enough to avoid premium regardless. And don't even get me started on the constant "TRY PREMIUM WE PROMISE IT'S GOOD" popups. It should speak for itself.
