  • Yea everyone getting powers at once cheapened it for me. I'm glad they had that other scene with Fisks mind, even though it was random with no prior indication that she could do that.

I'm worried that "everyone gets powers" thing is going to get memed now. The series was really good otherwise

  • This was the best episode for me I think, a very solid episode all around

  • It would! I can't remember when exactly this happened, but I think someone else used loud sounds on Daredevil and he had to figure out a way around it? Two similar cases I remember was the Season 2 Yakuza crew that was dead silent, and then I think Season 3 when he had the head injury and couldn't hear.

So I guess both of them are also ok (but not great) at fighting with their primary sense diminished.

It would make for some really cool episodes nonetheless

  • Something felt off, especially in this episode

It's been a consistent issue with almost all of the recent Marvel shows. Something just feels off

  • When she cranked the music up, it felt similar to when Daredevil killed the lights

Each of them has trained to fight without a particular sense, so by changing the playing field and making everyone lose that sense, they get a big advantage

  • This is also closer to the experience of a deaf person.

They can't look at the ground and listen to what is being said, they need to be looking at the person to communicate. It takes a different kind of focus to do that

  • Not sure if it was intentional, but that first scene after the backstory (with the trucks) reminded me of the first scene from Daredevil (in the docks). Similar framing or something?

I also liked the blending of the daredevil score when he shows up

  • My same thoughts, the first part felt a bit rushed... but at the same time this feels like the Marvel show I've been waiting a long time for. Maybe they could have used a handful more episodes to work with?

I'm going to space it out and watch it bit by bit

  • Moved from Australia to Canada. I used to watch cartoons with snow and I was looking forward to it.

I got here and received more snow than I knew what to do with

  • Never Have I Ever (highschool coming of age show, therapy focuses on those issues). I believe it's on Netflix

Atlanta has a short but decent therapy arc in the last season

  • On the hip hop side, they're growing in popularity but could be bigger: Coast Contra

One of the modern rap/hip hop groups that really holds up, and they're consistent with the quality

This was the video that got me following their stuff:

  • Music and learning new things

    I like nice experiences

  • Adding on:

LA Noire is pretty good, it's slow enough that you can talk through the different options, or just be silly while having a laugh

  • Fair enough! I'm enjoying learning about the hardware stuff, so I was excited to watch HCS. I guess it's a hard course, which is where the mild worry came from 😄 I'll get started on watching it!

I loved Silicon Valley, and I might give it a rewatch sometime to catch all the jokes I didn't quite understand
