  • The whole process was rigged. There was no national call for dancers and Holy Molly was objectively better in the qualifiers, though not as good as other B-girls around the country.

Raygun was an absolute embarrassment and shouldn't have been sent over. There's a time and place to practice new moves and the Olympics is not the place.

  • Fair, not yet but the bill has passed and it's now being written into law in Australia, where I live. I agree that it'll be difficult for the child to be the odd one out if most people in society are doing something that they're banned from doing at home but when has that stopped society from progressing? Why teach to cave into societal pressure when you can apply critical thinking as to why it's being limited in the first place?

  • He became the richest guy on earth because the system is set up to give you infinite money when you hit critical mass of wealth. Why do you think the rich keep getting richer and the poor get poorer?

He did not get here because he's smart; he's rich and was too rich to fail. He got a leg up in emerald mines which allowed him to gamble and invest during the early internet days, thus allowing him to continue to invest/gamble.

He's certainly helping to change the world but not for the better. His philosophies that guide his policies are inciting violence and giving rise to racism and misogyny.

I definitely think he's a moron, but the system is set up so that I can't possibly take him or his ilk down. I wasn't born into a family that owned heaps of wealth and slavery. I'm not a white male.

But in % comparisons, my quality of life is much better than his. That's where I can take him down.

    End rant.

  • And we're saying that Elon knows <1% of any manufacturing process, evidenced by inconsistencies of manufacturing process across all his companies. The employees know more, yes, but they are not Elon and Elon is not SpaceX.

And, for starters, not unfathomable but made possible through VC money and years of R&D. This makes it possible and completely fathomable. It's all maths and science.

  • I don't know what to tell you dude. I'm just a foreigner and I heard that message over and over. It was as clear as day for me.

However, message or no, the US have put a convicted felon in charge of the country. I'm gobsmacked by that.

  • Our bodies are simply not made to leave earth for a long period. It's a lofty goal but completely unrealistic when considering our biology has evolved specifically to live here.

Has no one learned anything from War of the Worlds?

Also, remember how humanity really messed things up when we started colonising other parts of our globe? We brought disease, we murdered and we polluted.

  • I'm just a foreigner who is very interested in global politics and from what I saw, Harris did have a real message, with policies to boot. Such has first home owners grant, small business grant and the goal of increasing the size of the middle class, which means giving more opportunities to lower class.

Trump on the other hand was ranting incoherently and when he was coherent, sent a message that he was going to take people's rights away.

I don't understand how Harris needed to be clearer when it was as clear as night and day that she was the best choice economically and would provide a more stable future. In my opinion, it wasn't Harris' fault she lost. She ran a decent campaign. It's just that America is more than not racist, sexist and uneducated.

Disclaimer: I'm not saying US is any worse or better. Heck, Australia voted no to indigenous recognition in our constitution while the US actually has support for their indigenous communities. We're racist, dumb and sexist AF too. This is just an example of how powerful misinformation can be.
