  • The only time you hear about it is when a feminist uses it to dismiss the opinions and feelings of men.

In reality nobody gives a flying fuck. Nobody wears anything on their lapel to virtue signal about it. There's no special edition news report dedicated to it, etc.

  • You're right, it's not a contest, everyone should be healthy.

So why is nobody like actually talking about men's issues? Why is mentioning them a good reason to get labeled a mra incel?

And before people come up with 'september is prostate cancer month', 'international men's day exist '

Yeah, but who's actually talking about them?

Here every other ad is about HPV swabs and other women's issues.

  • Realistically though, when you start advocating for men issues you get immediately cancelled for being a men rights activist serial rapist who hates women, so I get why most men don't speak up.

When society constantly reminds you that you and your feelings don't matter, you never bring them up.

  • I live in a relatively small city in northeast France, about 10k pop

I can probably go everywhere if I take multiple forms of transportation. However it's so badly integrated that it's usually not worth the hassle.

I'm taking my mother, sister and her kids for a week at the beach late june. Direct car trip is like 6-7 hours of mostly highway, probably 40€ of gas and tolls.

Taking public transportation, it's 10+ hours, the only train line goes through Paris for some fucking reason, it's 60€ per person, and then I would have no useful means of transportation when we get there. Or maybe we will, idk, it's impossible to find any useful information about buses trams or anything anywhere.

So I'll just take my car instead of gambling on the train conductors not being on strike.

I'd love to take public transit, but if you need to travel further than the immediate neighboring cities, it's just so fucking inconvenient.

  • It gets in the way anyway. And the amount of times I was pouring myself a drink and the cap snapped shut spilling shit everywhere is too damn high.

And when you try to screw it back on it just doesn't fit properly.

But anyway instead of endlessly complaining about it I just twist it off because I am not a baby.
