  • The court can hold anyone in contempt, can order anything, can moan and bitch about constitutional crisis till the end of days. It won't matter if the people who have to uphold those rulings are the people against whom those rulings are made and will simply ignore it.

Rule of law is is just a strong as the people who enforce it.

  • People expect the representative they voted for to vote how they want. Conservatives' representative voted as they wanted. Whereas Democrats' representative voted against their wishes. Hence the outrage.

This is a simplistic explanation, 4 Democratic representative might have voted as their constituents have demanded.

  • I have read three Murakami books; 1Q84, Kafka on the shore, Norwegian Wood.

I loved 1Q84 so went directly into Kafka couldn't read more than a few pages. I came back after a few months reading a few books. Kafka felt fresh and loved Murakami again.

Same happened with Norwegian Wood. I took some time between Kafk and it. And I loved it more.

Murakami is like a fever dream, you can't stay there for long. You ve to come out of it, breath fresh air before you dive bck in.

  • People are not averse to tech, they are averse to being treated like shit as compared to rich businesses. If copyright doesn't apply to companies it must not apply to individuals.

In that case most of I think will agree to LLMs learning from all the written stuff.
