Jesus replied, "Elijah does indeed come, and he will restore all things. But I tell you that Elijah has already come, and they did not recognize him, but have done to him whatever they wished. In the same way, the Son of Man will suffer at their hands."
Implying that a house where the owners don't own guns would have been the right one?
The reason burglars take guns in the US is because there's a good chance they'll run into owners with guns as well. So lots of people owning guns doesn't prevent burglary, it just forces criminals to take guns as well.
Anything in the Netherlands is close to an urban core.
They also have centuries of experience on building on lands that shouldn't be capable of supporting dense housing. Amsterdam used to be a literal swamp as well (I'm not making any statements on its current status).
I just googled "trans protection laws by biden" and got quite some hits explaining what he did so far, including revoking some of Trump's anti-trans laws.
Not sure what you're referring to with the 33 states, but it seems to imply an issue where the federal government has no say in.
Could he be doing more for trans rights, and LGBTQ rights in general? For sure. But perfect is the enemy of the good. Especially considering what another Trump presidency would mean.
Sixty percent of cluster bomb casualties are people injured while undertaking everyday activities, according to Reuters. One third of all recorded cluster munitions casualties are children.
So yes, while I keep being staunchly on the side of Ukraine and NATO helping them, this is not something I like to see.
They are looking at short term benefits, understandably. I may be naive, but still believe they can drive the Russians out with more conventional weapons. The fact that they seemingly don't think so is actually worrying.
Especially because these things will be used on Ukrainian soil. So it will be Ukranian people who will have to deal with the fallout for years/decades to come.
Next to basically everything that has been mentioned before (most notably backwards compatibility for games and the combination of handheld and docked), I would love it if the controllers would be backwards compatible as well. My joy-cons have the dreaded drift, but it would be nice if I can keep using my pro controller.
Reading these comments, I think the opinion of the community is that Nintendo got a lot of things right. Keep those, but just update it. Meaning more powerful and more reliable hardware.
The games are great, let us keep playing them and the new ones on the same system.
The option to choose and switch between handheld and docked is amazing. Both this and the previous point are what helps Nintendo set itself apart from the competition. Keep or even build on that.
I was gonna comment that as a European, I know about both of them and have seen pictures of them. But I could not tell them apart. So it seemed weird they were at each others throat.
With this comment, it seems more that it's a profiling issue. They are both trying to fill the same role and can't stand each other because of it. Maybe it's a good sign that they believe there's no room for more than 1 of them?
