Yes, because if we build enough of them they'll suck up all the heat from the sun's rays. However, they would also suck up all the light. And because it would be so dark and cold, people would need their heating and lights on at all times, so the energy consumption actually would go up. My chiropractor calls it "The Solar Panel Paradox".

I still get goosebumps from that song for this reason! Nick Drake's Three Hours gives me a similar feeling.

I think what OP was pointing out was the severity of the fight, and the way that it has illustrated fundamentally different expectations of this new relationship so soon -- not just that there has been a fight within the first year because you're right, disagreements are normal and usually healthy.

The last sentence actually sounds incredibly helpful.

They are not doing good. People are becoming dependent on chatbots produced by for-profit companies to get their fix of human socialisation. That's absolutely awful, very unfortunate, and most assuredly unhealthy.

Nah cos you're right, they're shit - but if we're talking about a future where these models are unfortunately used by uncreative dorks enough that they harvest enough music to become good, it'll be a sad day.

It's just deeply inauthentic. I'd feel tricked if I listened to a song that I enjoyed and found out it was actually a meaningless machine printout.

To be totally fair, with my older phone the GPS never worked properly (it was very cheap), so I'd usually look up the directions to a place beforehand and text them to myself for use later. Did get lost a lot but you can usually just ask somebody where to go
