First reported infection in a child in the USA. The question becomes how was it transmitted. Assuming the child is not exposed to infected poultry, then another vector must be responsible. The real danger is the mutation of the virus into a human to human transmissible strain. If an effective vaccine can't be manufactured quickly, many deaths are possible. Now, I see in your previous comments that you say we have been living with viruses for thousands of years. That is true but that shouldn't stop us from protecting ourselves. The deaths may be just a statistic to you but every death is a tragedy for someone.

What a prat. As a member of Gen X, I'm deeply ashamed. We were supposed to be the first generation not to care about people's gender and sexuality.

I'm gay. My nephew knows this. We are the same generation so he is more like a little brother to me. When he told me he voted for Trump I was so angry. I have cut him off. He and I were just beginning to get closer these last couple of years. This election wasn't about different fiscal priorities. It was about our very survival. I guess we couldn't overcome the propaganda thrown at us. If you are not dependent on your family for anything, I would cut them off.

You know, for some of us, this election was about survival and safety. Some people are just so blind to that fact.

Since the House and EC are capped, we should take the excess population that is not being represented and move it around.

I actually don't believe. I've only been exposed to this because of my born again sister. She cries when thinking about the "Rapture" because she's afraid she won't be near her husband when it happens. She loves my BIL very much. She thinks that everyone will be enthralled by Christ and will be praising him constantly for eternity. Like, literally that will be the only thought in anyone's head. Like a cult. I was the last born and by the time I came around, my mother couldn't be bothered to take me to church. She was too tired. I'm very thankful to her for that even if it wasn't her intention to not indoctrinate me. Never been baptized either.
