  • Hi, Thanks for the hints, and yes I have to trigger the pipeline by editing and commiting the Version information here

    do I really need

    cd lemmy-translations/;
    git checkout "$TRANSLATION_COMMIT" || exit 1;

    even if I have

    git submodule init
    git submodule update

    See here and here

  • My first thought was, he could have done it the red hat way🤪

  • You could also use fossil as SCM, it is small, a single executable and has a wiki (and bug tracker) in it, so you could keep your documentation and code close together

  • Me too, would love to use any of these icons

  • What about creating a dedicated thread for that and for every release, all contributors are listed and appreciated. Additionally there could be a static text that mentions all the other volunteer's who contributed and helped indirectly

  • Anyone checked the .APK from GitHub?

    Update: 3,34MB 😄

  • I love the humour in it

  • I create software by myself and disagree. First it's very political where and for whom I choose to develop software. Second, software is always made for a purpose and the purpose can be indeed (and is) very often linked to political or social cause. E.g. a software which only purpose is to harm people, say for controlling mass destruction weapons is in my point of view a very political software
