Even in tabletop rpgs, I advocate for the removal of the grid. I prefer to do combat in the style of tabletop wargames, free movement in any direction, treating each inch of movement as 5 feet (for D&D and Pathfinder).

I may disagree with leftists on particular economic policies, but generally view them as good people who may be at worst a little naive. Social conservatives are just hateful.
Then again there were enormous pro wrestlers in the 80s who made Vin Diesel look tiny, so the performance enhancement look definitely isn't that new to the public.
