  • I absolutely hate this brand as a company but compared to other options in my area (DFW Texas) this terrible brand is usually faster and cheaper. If I forgot my lunch or something I may go here. Fortunately some of the newer chains have decided it might be a good idea to not be super expensive and slow and I've been going to those instead.

I used to eat lunch at one of these via motorcycle and would walk inside and every single fucking time I'd nearly be run over by a distracted driver.

  • Windows 10/11 I prefer the dock at the bottom. Got that muscle memory

Mac os I prefer the dock to the left and auto hidden...I really don't use it that often and find it a waste of space

Linux just depends on which desktop UI I'm using or if I'm using one. I actually don't mind the ones that default to the top of the screen but most of what I do is either in terminal or a full screen application so I don't much care.

  • I have the regular arkfeld and it's been a solid ass flashlight. I mean it is always ready, takes a beating, shrugs off water (even underwater) worth every penny. I kinda want to get the one with a UV light instead of the laser I currently have.

  • Fortunately no but I've gone ahead and blocked you :)

Remember you're on the fediverse, which is a FOSS version of social media....self hosted by Linux nerds. You're pretty much in our territory.

Seriously though, give it a try...you'll be surprised how much it "just works"* and how terrible windows is once the tinted glasses are removed.

    *Some conditions apply

  • I've been playing bg3 in nearly max settings at 4k on a RX6700 and it's been nearly flawless. I noticed a bunch of people commenting about higher end 30 series cards, does the game struggle on those?

The biggest issue I've found is the cpu usage. Especially in the city of BG I'll see 8+ cpu cores really getting a workout.

  • What irks me about this is I own an ev (not a Tesla obviously fiat 500e) and I slog/bash that thing through mud/snow/rain/several inches of water on the regular and even do what id consider rally driving with it at times and it's fine. You know why? Because this was always a Tesla engineering failure and not an ev failure. But it sucks because people will think ev= unable to get wet which just is not true.

  • In my case I have a tiny ev and just kinda pay attention to charge networks suddenly popping up and I'll check to see if they're public. At most stock trading is a very small hobby for me and sometimes it makes a tiny amount of money.

  • I've been buying stock (small amounts) of small charging networks because I've found they frequently get bought up by oil companies for far more than the stock is usually worth. Sometimes they're used for green washing and sometimes they're improved upon but at least I made a little money.

A network called "Volta" got bought by Shell which kinda sucks because they're the most popular public L2 charger around here, so far nearly a year later they're still in operation.

  • Why is this so down voted? I'm seriously asking?

Are the people down voting disagreeing that mentally stable people generally don't go around shooting up public spaces?

Edit: Jesus was just asking, down voting doesn't help anyone who was confused as I was.

To everyone explaining the issue here thank you I get it now.
