  • Eh, I like the Mazda. It basically looks like what I would have pictured as a "futuristic Miata" a few years back. I will say I'm more interested because of its power train though.

But when I say "more interested" I just mean it's cool. I'm 6'6, no chance I would fit in it.

  • Xfce does not get updated often, so by that definition it is the most stable.

It's also pretty stable from the perspective of not crashing, but I can't say I've had much trouble with KDE either.

  • Several things from Google.

    • Google Maps - none of the OSM-bases options are there yet. I need traffic conditions and good Android Auto support. At the same time I hate that Google Maps is so full of ads. When I search for "breakfast" and the top result is a sponsored result for Dunkin and the closest is 50 miles away...
    • YouTube - the content is there so it's hard to go to an alternative.
    • Google Photos - my issue with this is really more tied to Gmail. If I stop paying for more Drive storage for my photos, I will stop receiving email because my account is full. But I did switch away from Gmail at least.
  • It's a tough distinction to make though. I would say let's label it as objectionable content, maybe even ban it from being "promoted" (which honestly I hate that bands can pay to be forced on my home screen anyway) and call it a day.

  • I listen to a lot of death metal including brutal death metal that has lyrics that many would find objectionable. I guess the key difference is that death metal is not expressing the views of the artist. Still, there are plenty of artists with objectionable views whose songs are not deplatformed.

  • I agree that quality matters, but when we have a number of active communities where the content is supplied by bots I don't know that I'd say we're winning on quality.

More users means more people contributing instead of bots.
