  • I was in the hospital for 3 weeks straight the first time I was appointed to a PC. All it took was going to one meeting and signing a form. If you don't have the time, energy, and health to write your name one time, maybe you shouldn't be writing the party platform.

  • To become a appointed PC, you have to go to one democratic party meeting after normal working hours and fill out a form. That is it - I was in the hospital over the course of 3 weeks when I first was appointed. No election necessary - and I'm sure your rural red community would be happy to have you just as mine did with me. The higher levels differ from state to state, but the state committee was just one 2 hour zoom meeting every 4 months for me.

  • Get involved and become a precinct committee person! They vote on the state committee persons, which vote on the national committee persons, which write the parties platform (which then gets ignored by the parties leaders). Most areas are hurting for people and you can win at least on the PC level by default. I made it to state committee person with barely any effort!

Or you can just sit and complain that the party is out of touch.

  • Trump: See, the polls were wrong! Particularly in the places where my supporters controled the counting process AND refuse to release the final count! Oh, you got those electoral votes thrown out? Too bad the consitution gives the presidency to Republicans if no one reaches 270 electoral votes (one state, one vote)

  • How much were undecided, and how much were Kennedy supporters? You just know all those Kennedy nut jobs will come home to roost in Trump's column when he drops out. So it could be as bad as 55 Trump, 45 Harris - or with the error thrown in - 57 Trump 43 Harris.

  • I don't understand how florida can't go blue this cycle. The abortion ammendment needs +60% to pass. Let's say it gets 63%. Is 13% of the electorate going to say: "I support abortion rights, but I am still going to vote for the one that took them away over the one that made it the centerpiece of her campaign"

  • Trump is running youtube ads of Harris saying: "Of course I'm a radical..." where all the lies and stuff are said after the skip button appears. I didn't know it was an anti-Harris ad until I saw it for the forth time. "Nothing will fundamentally change" was Biden's problem. We want change! We want a radical president! Trump was just radically ineffective.

  • Oh, no! Someone is tired if they are asked to work outside of normal working hours, friends and co-workers didn't talk smack behind his back, and he has a close relationship with his only son! And worst of all, the first lady's staff - who historically ran the more mundane custodial functions in the White House - were given access to the White House! And people hand picked by the first lady were loyal to her?

Wow, this is bad guys. Biden is acting like a normal person and not a drama queen who hires disloyal sycophants who bad mouth him behind his back!

  • By the time we normalize sex work, automated alternatives will be available.

I am not saying holodecks will be invented soon, but if everyone had access to basically Star Trek like holodeckes, why would we need real prostitutes?
