  • The sad thing is this might be one of the last times in history that you CAN'T claim this. In 4 years, posting info might be so drowned out by AI garbage that you won't be able to tell what is real and what is AI using user names from other sites and making racist posts.

  • Everyone said that the road to the white house runs through Pennsylvania. However, it looks like if Harris gets NC, she can loose Penn. What a turn that the first woman president gets elected because of what a man said on a porn site.

  • I hate it when I go to full screen and one of my (100s of) tabs has a youtube short that thinks "Oh, time to start playing again!"

Now I'll have paused tabs start making noise and I won't be able to find it until the ad is over.

  • I feel like there should just be an organization of countries that are not Israel or on the UN security counsel. The United Small Nations. Then they could just do things without everything they propose getting vetoed.

  • Upon hearing he had a chance, Rep. Colin Allred released a statement saying he would take away all Texan's guns. "That work so well for Beto last time around, I'm sure it will push those on the fence to support me!" he said as every top campaign manager rushed to tackle him to the ground yelling "not on the record, shut up Colin!"

  • Is this the program that open source people use to install all the random depencies that their program needs to work? The one that people tell me to use when I complain about git bash pico sudo pytorch Install commands?

Or did another company copy their name?

  • We have the baby boomers on the edge of dying. They are afraid of it, but there is nothing that can be done - so those fears shift to other things that "could" be dealt with.

-Immigrants destroying the culture they grew up in (that culture went away for other reasons),

-Gays and trans people being happy (The closeted Senator Graham saying there is no happiness in real life - why did gays of old have to suffer and hide if it was all for not?),

-The worst economy in the history of the US! (They are in their 80s, don't have a job, and running out of money, so it is bad for them)

-Small town on the edge of dying (because there is no jobs or amenities because they didn't want them in their town)

Trump speaks their insecurities and offers a path to fix things that no other politician dares to go down: "Burn the system to the grown and the people you hate will be hurt". Because modern Republicans care more about hurting the ones they hate than helping themselves, either because of self hate or a illusion that they won't get hurt in the process.

  • I am reminded of a very 90s Full House joke, wherein the annoying next door neighbor girl studies for her driver's test and passes. She is amazed that you can read up on potential test questions and then know them when they are asked on the test. She then asks "I wonder if you could do the same thing for tests in high school?" as if studying never occurred to her.

I feel like the concept of "studying the most pressing issues of the day and preparing responses" some people don't even consider, as all Trump has done since 2016 is just ad-lib all responses.

  • but I feel most people know exactly who they’re voting for already

The cross-section of people you know are more politically off the fence than the entire nation. Those that aren't online at all are also more undecided and less likely to interact with you.
