You can , and if you prefer the metadata for IMDB you can just change it and it do it again. It is really an amazing piece of software.

You should use Tinymediamanager , its an incredible program that can download metadata from TMDB , IMDB , and other sources. It can also organize and rename every episode and movie. They have a paid version and its totally worth it.

How you can be so sure about Apple all of their software and now their hardware is proprietary? They are the only ones that know what's going behind the scenes. I would not trust Apple at all I prefer Linux over anything.

I don't know how technical you are but its impossible to block kids from watching pornography online without implementing a draconian system in which we all loose our privacy . First there are millions and millions of websites with different domains that have thousands of pornographic videos and photos. Plenty of companies offer adult block content but there is always a way around. If they ask for ID , then a market for fake IDs will show up. This is like scams from India , Nigeria , and all those countries that are calling to scammed you. Its impossible to stop it and the only way is to create awareness and educate people on how to prevent it. So the same with porn , block it as a parent and try to explain why you are doing it and the consequences of excessing watching it.

Most of these states banning pornography and asking for ID are Republican , conservatives States. It is very ironic that the government is now doing the job of the parents. Instead the government should give parents and students advice on the harm that excess that pornography causes and tools to protect kids from this content online , now the kids will learn to circumvent it because its "prohibited" just like the apple in the tree of Adam and Eve.

Yeah those are good points , I should have mentioned it is not everyone doing self hosting. I do it because I want to learn.

If I knew how to do it , I will create a script or a one click install , manage and backup a lemmy , mastodon , etc instance. So everyone even non techie will have the availability to self host their own instance :) I dont know but that just me maybe its not worth it but who knows.

Well most of the drugs that we consume have side effects , every single one of them have side effects. A professional doctor should determine whether the side effects are worth it for you.

I took the time to watch the video that you link because man you are persistent. First , she is just reading "tweets" from a republican Jim Jordan who is caught numerous times lying , second she also seem to support the "side effects" of the vaccine without providing actual proof of where she find that information , and how many doctors made that study? I would not trust her at all. Also man look I truly believe in Freedom of Speech and you not are being censored if Facebook doesn't like your content. Its their serves , their internet , and its free so yeah they can do pretty much whatever they want. So use the technology available to share your thoughts , use free and open source software and host your own website so you can share with the world your opinions and concerns. You are not being censored you are just not taking your data into your hands.
