  • You're not alone. The human body is an amazingly complex and intricate series of systems, and watching them fail in your parent one after another is.. One of the worst things I have ever witnessed.

Like some illnesses just affect a specific area or part of the body, like when you break a bone of have the sniffles, but this? It is... very "creative" in the destruction of your loved one.

I wish your mom, yourself, your family, the best of luck.

  • I have also seen this. It can be easier to control one's appearance than to control unidentified problems. There's a huge market for fashion & cosmetics, perhaps bigger than the education industry. All people have value regardless of appearance or ability, of course.

  • For extra fun: sing System of a Down in public and see who becomes confused and/or aroused.

  • Creators don't have to be all-knowing. Also, because believing this reality is a simulation does not change the rules we live by, there is no difference between the life of a sim-denier and sim-believer. It's not as if you'd be punished just for [redacted].

  • Mutually consensual, absolutely of course! Just like any service one performs in exchange for money, like bus driving, prostitution, and marriage.

  • It's the male's decision too. He gets more leniency because he has money. Him special.

  • It would be weird if he wasn't wealthy. If he can't follow the "half your age plus 7" rule that's a sign of immaturity. Good luck for all of you.

  • holy shit that's boomer zoomer as fuck

  • Most people don't have ADHD. You had to do something most people don't have to do. You adapted to your condition, and without support. I'm sorry you didn't get the recognition you may have benefitted from as a child.

Recognizing my disability doesn't make me helpless or lazy, it helps me get the resources that enable me to perform like the world expects.

Being 6ft tall can give you joint and heart problems in later life. Flat-chested women can be excellent swimmers. Having eyes too far apart might make you an unsafe driver.

  • I guffawed at this. Well done.

  • I'm somewhat of a medical professional.

    Pass. Hard pass.
