It's not really about comfort when you buy software and it doesn't work unless you also buy an $800 hardware upgrade. Especially when it worked fine on the previous version and the only difference is the addition of extraneous features.
Honestly, I am leaning toward the psychiatrist being correct. From your limited description of your symptoms, it does sound like either schizoaffective disorder or schizophrenia. I am not a mental health professional at all, so you may want to get a third opinion from a psychiatrist or psychologist.
Treatment is expensive for any mental health condition, it really is unfortunate and unfair that there aren't more free/accessible supports. Sometimes it does feel like you're getting scammed (I have ADHD, most medications are very expensive and pharmacies sometimes treat you like a drug addict), but taking medicine can help a lot depending on the person.
Medication for schizophrenia has come a long way in the last 3 decades.
And all Imperial amounts are based on the SI system (the official name for metric). That's basically the point of having a standard.
I'm really not sure what the big deal is that the packaging uses the metric equivalent of the unit used in the US, which is one of the main countries that many businesses worldwide serve. That's also the case with butter (1 lb to 454g), cream cheese (8 oz to 250g), etc.
Didn't most of those programmers from the 60s and 70s have like, Master's degrees in mathematics? Computers were massive, expensive machines that were used largely by universities and research facilities - you definitely couldn't buy your own and teach yourself how to program it like you can now.
Seems like Monica or BookStack would fit your criteria. I looked into Monica for a similar reason but ultimately it seemed like too much work to organize every person in my life so meticulously. But if that's what you want, it might be perfect for you.
I'm not really sure what removing a female sex offender's ovaries are supposed to do to prevent recidivism. As far as I'm aware, that wouldn't do anything but send her into early menopause; restlessness, irritability, and libido might actually increase, which may make reoffending more likely.
What's more infuriating is that we have federal protections for gender identity already in place, so these policies could be subject to discrimination lawsuits from trans people, costing even more taxpayer money.
I'm not a lawyer, but I think it's fairly obvious that there's some sort of disparate impact on trans people happening here. It's also a form of sex discrimination, but I'm not sure how far that argument would go in court.
I think your drives may not be mounted correctly (they are not in your fstab so the mount doesn't persist after reboot); this comes up in the comments of the guide. Maybe this comment will help you.
This is essentially the reason it was made illegal in Canada to lock phones to carriers and all phones must be sold unlocked. I think the reason we did it is to keep customers from complaining about the rates we pay, though, since we're one of the most expensive places in the world for cellular service and mobile data charges.
All scratches, dirt, and other damage have been left in
I'm pretty sure that that's the point. It's a project that chose to restore as much as it could of the original theatrical release, warts and all. If you're not a fan, that's cool, since this version was created specifically to please a certain type of person.
Windows from 1999 until December 2023. Debian since then!
