If you think this is about an exposed shoulder, you missed the point.

I refuse to pay for pirated content out of principal. It's bad enough that I'm infringing copyright (and boy do I!) but commercialized piracy rubs me the wrong way. I even prefer Bittorrent over Usenet and FOSS media software over commercial software. Yarr!

I have a paralegal who can find a citation for that. $500/hr plus expenses.

They changed the title because it apparently wasn't a shooting, not because of potential connotations of "mass shooting."

A previous version of this story called the incident a mass shooting, based on an interview with police Chief Eric Stubbs. In fact, it was not a shooting. The cause of death has not yet officially been released.

FYI, a browser plugin called Reddit Enhancement Suite (RES) exposed the vote breakdown on Reddit as well, although like all scores on reddit, it was fuzzed to confound cheaters.
