  • Idk man. If she said she was going to delete and she didn't, that's one thing, but showing it to her friends on top of that? I'd be pissed. Big red flag. Pretty big betrayal of trust. If I were you I would contemplate leaving her unless maybe she's perfect in every other way. At the very least you need to have a serious talk with her. You say that you told her it was ok but clearly you don't actually think it is, you need to tell her that it wasn't ok.

  • Ah, well here's another one of those down votes you were looking for.

Side note, I'm American. After getting a mechanical engineering degree is was clear to me that metric is just better. Maybe it doesn't matter to you, maybe it doesn't matter to most people, but if you actually have to spend time thinking about this stuff then it starts to matter.

  • You do realize the reason fahrenheit is set up that way, is based on the human perception of temperature. 0-100 is the general range or cold to hot.

You do realize that Celsius is set up based on known, objective, & measurable data points instead of subjective things like "hot" and "cold".

  • If you install a window unit, your window will obviously be open and there will be a gap between the two panels of your window in which air can pass through. I got these little rubber flappy gasket things with adhesive strips that cover the gap and visually kinda blend in and aren't noticeable. If you search for "door draft stopper" or "window gasket" you should be able to find it.

  • Idk, I got one made by Midea and it's pretty good imo. Granted, we have casement windows (the ones where the window slides to the side to open, not up/down) so the usual window units weren't an option.
