This is another sharpie map moment. Nature and physics doesn’t give a shit about what map you’re on. The maps are designed to help people make well informed decisions. Purposely ignoring it and sticking your head in the sand just means there’s a greater likelihood you get fucked, not that it’ll magically go another way.

I swear it’s sending synchronous commands to an overloaded back end because if you type any faster than 5 WPM it loses keystroke. You literally have to put massive delays in anything you type to get it correct.
Used to play a drinking game with coworkers and those tokens. We would pick high or low and whoever had said number on the roll over had to buy everyone a round of drinks.
They don’t really need to scrape. They just have to set up their own federated instance and the ActivityPub protocol will willingly hand it all to them in a nicely parsable format.
I’ve seen that happen when you have a community (or instance) blocked in your settings and I think I’ve heard that in some cases where you’re banned from a community (though haven’t seen the latter myself)
I mean if your partner comes out one day and wants to transition, you can still be happy for them even if you don’t want to stay in a relationship with them. No shame there.
