  • Wouldn't the fediverse fall under that?

  • Both the Israeli government and Hamas are wrong and bad. The Israeli people and Palestinians are both indigenous to the land they share, and both have the right to live there. The median age of Palestine is under 20, the people many people in this thread are justifying the genocide of are majority children, because their parents have been killed by the Israel government in an apartheid state. The solution Netanyahu will take will be genocide of Palestinian people, when Hamas is to blame.

  • I want:

    • Federated anime lists software - BookWyrm could be repurposed for this
    • Torrent trackers - private trackers might be able to work by having each user have a ratio depending on their instance, tracker instances opting in to being viewable by other instances as a whole and/or users individually
    • Booru-style image boards
    • a Neopets clone

For my final wish, I want a Tiktok clone. I don't really know if this could work while maintaining any level of user privacy, as what makes Tiktok work so well is the sheer amount of personal user data they keep, from watch times to likes to reposts to shares to even knowing what videos you leave the platform on. I think a fediverse-style Tiktok clone would only be accepted if it only relied on likes and reposts for personal algorithms.

Edit: Oh, and good federated wiki software.

  • Good. Fuck this ad targeting bullshit. Let it have the most devastating effects and kill the value of all this data these shitty companies are mining from users.

  • I hope they have the PR for when he misses the deadline already written up so they can just hit "Publish" when he fails to respond.

  • Ya, it should be 3 books a week, or even a month, imo.
I do see how someone could publish 3 books in a day, by releasing a full trilogy all together. But beyond that, you really are only looking at people making utter garbage.

  • I just caught up from episode 1 and I love this anime. It's genuinely so chill, pretty, and it has this sort of slightly melancholic, strongly nostalgic vibe weaved throughout each episode. I saw someone mention there's 11 volumes of the manga, so I'd guess that means the entire thing will be adapted in 2 cours. I'm excited to see how the show progresses.

  • I like the 3d cg they were doing when just moving across the map. Next few episodes should be this arena which sounds like fun

  • Pokemon TCG for GB was arguably the best Pokemon RPG. I've not played the English fanlation of 2 yet though, so maybe that's better.

  • Really excited to see how much gets adapted. I'm happy with what we've gotten so far, and the animators have really done a good job at making Claire a true beauty, while not losing that classic VN-style aesthetic.

This episode focused more on developing our characters than last week. I can't wait for next episode!

  • Oh I love Princess Tutu! The sound design is brilliant and the animation is truly gorgeous!

  • I can't switch until Playnite gets an official implementation on Linux

  • He also has said that he doesn't know where to stand on certain issues to hold political advantage. These people have no principles.
