This is a great example to explain it to people who are familiar with the topic.
But if I tell that to a "random" friend, word for word, they won't know what I'm talking about :D
Someone should make a post about why blocking Threads is good and why it's not to be confused with gate keeping.
If not properly communicated, this could look very badly for the uninitiated and they're not to blame.
Some people of course have an educated opinion against blocking, but many presumably don't know the reasons behind it.
Where do you live? I'm asking because my experience couldn't be more different and I'm in Germany.
I'm also a man, went to therapy and my therapist was just fantastic! She could relate to me, gave excellent advice etc., really changed my life for the better.
PS: of course I didn't have go anything or so, just if I'd miss a session ^^ (in theory, but even 30m late to a 50m session was still fine hehe)
After a few times I memorized where the bread or fruit (w/o barcode) I usually buy is in the menu and am almost equally fast as an employee would be.
So it just took me some time to adjust personally.
That's fair, but I think this will rather be fixed algorithmically.
More users here (generally) means less users on big tech platforms, which I always appreciate :) Also I think gatekeeping ends up hurting a platform.
Even "generic" people can have or develop special interests haha.
It doesn't have crossfade. If you create a backup from inside the settings, you get a suspiciously large database called songs.db but I didn't look into that any further.
Wow that sounds amazing, thank you for the advice! 😀 Will ask around in a nearby school soon. Would duckduckgo also work for the "google" part?
Edit: linking your sources instead of claiming "a basic google search proves me right" should be a given.
