  • Truck drivers aren't even allowed to go in the fast lane where I've lived.

  • Oh cool, never knew of this!

  • They probably meant an entire virtual machine (which is only feasible on desktop/laptop as far as I know).

  • Missed that, sorry. My point about cuddling with friends still stands. It works quite well for me.

  • Maybe try casual dating and hookup apps. I hear Tinder is good for finding hookups, and it's legal even outside of Nevada. Perhaps some ladies nearby are also touch-starved. I second the suggestions that you ensure good body hygiene, dress somewhat well, and have good posture when sitting and standing.

You can also see if your friends are open to (non-sexual) cuddling; maybe they are also touch-starved. Girls (especially in childhood) are more open to hugging and cuddling, and maybe you can get a little bit of that good cuddles by leaning up against a guy friend while watching football or something. Not sure how to help regarding accusations of "that's gay" though. One of my friends is pretty gay so that doesn't bother us (we don't have a sexual relationship, but we do make lots of jokes).

    Best of luck.

  • I've never seen this before. Thanks for sharing!

  • Sorry to hear that. I hope it gets better.

  • This is a pretty unique answer. I'm sorry you and your friends had such bad experiences, but it's definitely good to have people to relate to.

  • From what I understand, you blink out of existence when teleporting; you have no physical form until you reappear. So gravity can't act on your non-existent physical form, just on your body before and after teleporting.

  • I don't think it's open-source, sorry, but I use an app called CPU Info. It's got lots of information from lots of sensors.

  • :retab is your friend!

  • Not at all! I don't watch shows very much, but I've seen those in hotel rooms and dentist lobbies (weirdly enough) and it sounds good.

  • That's sweet. Maybe I should try that with friends sometime.

  • Never knew I liked this too, but it sounds nice so I guess I agree.

  • I've never been able to whistle and I'm so sad about it. I can do the grass trick though, and I can also make a whistle/scream sound using an acorn cup.

  • Off the top of my head, I think something in traditional European beliefs said that the soul was at risk of flying out of the nose when one sneezed. Hence people would say "bless you" in case you died and were at risk of otherwise falling into hell.

(Edit:) This vaguely supports my memory: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/God_bless_you#Origins_and_legends
