I suppose so. Still, Britain could have fought fair, on the battle fronts, after evacuating civilians. They weren't wrong for fighting WWII in the first place; they were wrong for how they went about it.
One point I saw elsewhere in this thread is that Western military support makes it such that if Hamas were to create actual military posts to fight a fair fight like I was imagining, then Israel would just bomb those places and that would be that. No more armed struggle by Palestinian forces because there would be no more Palestinian forces. So the only way for them to have a chance is to fight dirty, hiding among civilians and such.
I don't know enough about wars to say there was any that was completely squeaky clean, but there's a spectrum. Like, Britain killing Germans in WWII probably wasn't as bad as what Japanese soldiers did in Nanjing. It was bad, but not as bad.
Just reading the homepage, no, it just looks like a tool. When you use it, you're not a programmer; you're an RPG player or a writer or something. It just looks like programming because you type into a monospace textbox.
Got it. I really did think it was just a judgement of those who wish to hide their body odor. I'm sorry it affects you. Maybe both really should be banned.
Perfume designers should design hypoallergenic perfumes.
True. It feels fine to me because I pretty much grew up on it, but introducing people to it is always rough (one friend group is still on Facebook Messenger).
You're probably not serious, but I wrote this it out, so I'll post it:
The difference is that smokers actively blow smelly air out, whereas perfume is just a passive (if smelly) thing on one's body. To ban perfume would be more similar to banning people who smoke (even if they're not actively smoking) because the smoke lingers in their hair and clothes, and that opens up the door to banning construction workers because they might smell sweaty, farmers because they might smell like manure, or preschool teachers because they might smell like baby spit/vomit. Let's just ban smoking as an activity.
I do cybersecurity and programming, so, stereotypically, Discord. It's more widespread than Matrix, and it's natively and easily cross-platform unlike iMessage, SMS, Telegram, or Signal.
Please don't "look her up and down". Nobody I know would want to be checked out by an acquaintance or first date like that, and she is most certainly not "unconsciously" seeing you check her out. She's painfully aware of it.
If it's someone you're actually dating already for a few months, then different story. But if it's a stranger you're on your first date with, then please don't do this.
34Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. 35Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
Doesn't this context imply "this generation" is roughly equivalent to "heaven and earth", not literally the current generation of Homo sapiens?
