I was hoping there was as a real movement against Musk. Instead, we got a whole article about one snarky post on X.

1. Claim a federal agency is inefficient
2. Fire employees and defund agency
3. Agency performs worse than before
4. Point finger at the agency showing how it is incompetent
5. Move to privatize agency
6. $$$$$$$

What is motivating all companies to remove DEI? Is there any law against it? As far as executive orders, they only apply to government workers.

I bet a bunch of CEOs are fascists, but they know that letting it come out is bad for business.

It can’t be overstated how toxic Musk is to the Tesla brand. He is alienating the people who are most likely to buy an electric car. He may think that the democrats are in the bag and now he is courting republicans, so he can sell electric cars to them too. Well, the sales numbers speak for themselves.

I don’t think they can have it both ways. It does not matter they collect salary or not.

I came here to say that. Who you know makes the other two criteria become irrelevant.

At my work they openly mention that 80% of their hires are from referrals. And I’m not talking about a little unknown company. They have more than 10,000 employees. I’m one of the 20%.

However, I only got my first job because I knew a VP at that company.
