The man is in frail state. I'm not wishing his death but does he have to keep "producing", as a proper slave to politics, or is he deserving of going as painlessly as possible with as little suffering as humanly attaineable?

The man's frailty and dwindling health was visible. I sincerely hope a therapy can be found to mitigate suffering but let's not hold illusions: it reached the bone, it's aggressive; the man does not have much time.

Is that wine or paint? Wine washes off, unless you boil the stain into fabric.

I'm going to risk that is going to last for a very long time.

It would be a sure way to have this technology properly funded and true recycling being done: all sharks would jump at having the opportunity to make fuel at the price of pennies.

But do we need more cars running on it as it is?

In my country, the communist party (very watered down version of communism but still) is behind/aligned with most unions and they defend that companies should either be owned by the employees (co-ops) or employees should have a stake and saying on companies governance.

We have another left-wing party that even defends that failing companies should be returned to the employees, with government backed funding (loaned) if necessary to recapitalize the business and relaunch the company under employee governance.

Try getting stuck in a barracks for years and tell me if "male bonding" doesn't become enticing. I read a text on spartan military where the author wrote that men sneaking out during the night to go meet their wives wasn't uncommon but being caught trying it led to severe punishment.

Athens and Plato just went overboard on the subject. Double men, double women and hermaphrodites. Convoluted.

Fight with your vote. Support smaller parties. Be politically active. Demand change.

It's good to know proper study has been done but you can talk with any smoker and infer - if they don't admit it openly - from their words they use cigarettes to ease off the stress. And when the nicotine fails, it's ugly to see.

Throw that guy into the sea. Tell him to swim back. Maybe the swim readjusts his attitude. Those guys are bad PR for us.

How are those guys? Friendly and caring folks? Or someone you should keep a distance from?
