I agree, let's let the animals outside and enjoy their lives. I'm still going to eat them, I just want them to have a nice life before I do. Buy grass fed, organic, cage free, vote on bills supporting outdoor space, make it happen.

The requirements are more of a suggestion. In my experience recruiters have no clue what they're even asking for, just apply anyway and recognize you need some experience in what they are asking about because it'll come up in the interview

Good. Much like malls, big cities are a thing of the past. People don't want that anymore, cities are hell to travel around, dirty, stinky, expensive and unsustainable. Most people would have a vastly better time in a well developed small/mid town area.
