  • Yeah experiencing the same issue every now and then in Safari. I have reported that one a few days ago. Hopefully it will be resolved soon...

  • Water sensor near your washing machine.

And a smart speaker connected to HA in the bedroom to play a alarm once the smoke detector goes off.

  • If you open a link in a new tab, sometimes it shows that you're logged out. Try F5 or CTRL+R, you should be logged in again.

  • As said, try deleting your cookies for lemmy.world. Would love to hear if it solved your issue.

  • Yeah, that infinite loading icon happens sometimes. You just have to wait, or try again. If it happens again you can always message me with the comment. Then I can check if it went through. :)

  • While it is a great idea, I doubt that the Lemmy devs have time to implement that in the near future.

  • When Nico Rosberg takes a selfie in front of a pitbox, the team loses in qualifying/race. Happened a few times in a row now.

  • I don't know if you use iOS. But I just found out the Memmy app has a filter instance option. I don't know if it works, but maybe you can give it a try.

If you use Android maybe hit up your favourite developer with a feature request? Seems like the fastest option atm.

  • As I see now, Memmy for iOS has a block instance filter. I do not use it, but if you have iOS you can maybe give that one a try.

  • Excatly. It is so dumb. I mean, just sync with Apple Health and import it.

Besides that, the app itself is not that fun to use. Was laying in bed after the first night of sleep and got a tutorial of around 15 minutes...

  • Is not possible as of yet. The only solution is to defederate.

For now the only option is to block every community that you don't want to be seen individually. It is on the to-do list of the Lemmy devs though. But don't expect it in the near future.

  • It works just fine for me. Still experiencing the problem?

  • You can contact the devs on GitHub.

  • Yes. It has to be tagged NSFW.

This is because NSFW posts still can appear in the All-feed.

All rules can be found here.

  • It is quite a busy time for the Lemmy devs! Lemmy is still in the early days of development. In fact, we're testing a Alpha product with the masses.

It is indeed a known bug, but the Lemmy devs (not the lemmy.world devs) are really busy trying to solve the problem. The given is, it is not a multi-million company that runs it. I suggest you to have a read at the Lemmy blog that they posted after the Reddit blackout to get a better idea of who's behind it and what the plans are.

We're in the early days of Lemmy and for the past view weeks, I see we (and of course other instances) are builing something really nice here, and it goes with ups and downs in terms of availability of the website and improvement of the algorithms.

  • Hello!

If you use the report button, it goes directly to the mods of the community. It is not a given that they send it to the LW admins.

I suggest to block these communities, blocking instances is not yet possible. That being said, do you have a list of the instances?

Please note we're using a Alpha product. Lemmy is still in the early days of development. There are plans to block instances yourself so they don't appear in your feed, but don't expect them anytime soon. It is a busy time.

  • I'm playing some old school Black Ops II Zombies with some friends. Buried is such a great zombie map!

  • We just really want you to stay!!

But seriously. We get that this is a big issue, a user should be able to delete their account at all times. Not only to comply with legislation, but also from a moral standpoint. That's why developers are already working on a solution. I don't know exactly when the patch will be rolled out.

  • Only posts that has been deleted the last view days were:

Whistleblower says U.S. recovered 'non-human' biological material | UFO Hearing Due to not linking to a article.

Adopt eight lifestyle changes to add 20 years to your life, researchers say Due to not being a current world event and a clickbait title.

This are the last 4 days of posts that were deleted. I think the person who made the post deleted it himself. We are very carefull with deleting posts. Every voice should be heared, but to a certain extend of course. Deleting a post or comment is the last resort.
