  • As a mod you can lock a post for new comments. You can also create a community where only mods can post and lock the post. For both, you need to be a mod.

    These are the only two options.

  • LW is federated to feddit.uk.

    It can take up sometimes minutes, sometimes an hour to sync comments and posts. Depending on the availability of LW and feddit.uk.

    In your case, I see it has not synced at all.

    I have read the outage logs and LW was fully operational at time of posting.

    So as far as I can see, the issue is most likely a problem on feddit.uk or a syncing error bug on Lemmy itself.

  • You cannot undo it. But no worries, mods will mark it as resolved if nothing is wrong with it. :)

  • There are some federation issues known, but that is only when you go to a lemmy.world community on another instance.

    I was not able to reproduce the error. Not on the official client and not on a.lemmy.world.

  • What do you mean? Marking your notifications in your inbox as read or posts?

    Via the website, there is no way to delete the view history. Maybe some third-party apps offer this function. I suggest to contact the developer of the specific app for that.
