  • For those like me wondering what it is:

Geany is a small and lightweight Integrated Development Environment. It was developed to provide a small and fast IDE, which has only a few dependencies from other packages. Another goal was to be as independent as possible from a special Desktop Environment like KDE or GNOME - Geany only requires the GTK3 runtime libraries.

  • Like the other reply in the crosspost said, it sounds like you are trying to reuse the clear plastic thingy and that will not work.

When you crimp on a connector little metal blades are pushed into the wire channels and that is what is blocking your wires and making them bend.

I would recrimp the cable with a new connector, all of my friends would replace the whole cable.

  • Ark Survival Evolved.

Peak Ark is when you have no idea what you are doing and keep being shitmixed by velocipators. Huddled in a darkened shack with the outside chewing it's way inside while you scream in terror.

Then you finally get a bit of a handle on what is going on, tame your own raptor and BAM giant snake knocks you out and as you swim back to consciousness a giant croc grabs you in its mouth and launches into the stratosphere.

Later on it's all iron man suits and minmaxing every fucking thing.

  • I have an internet pencil.

Getting reliable internet through the house while renting crappy houses means I end up using ethernet over power bricks.

Every couple of months they will fail and need to be power cycled but the switches on the power point are occluded by the EoP brick without enough room for my fat fingers.

I would just grab any pen or pencil to use as my switch flicking tool but they are constantly purloined by my children so I keep a special internet pencil on my desk.
