I think reading about lost media is interesting, especially when its some important event, or the search for it remains fun. Lost Doctor Who episodes are wild. Lost images of the first display of television is weird to consider, when anyone here has never been without television. I understand I'm probably weird on this however.
I think approachable and digestible is a good, but my mother really enjoyed true crime, and the two choices were "Direct weekly documentary" like a Cold Case Files, or something that reads as like its water cooler talk about this week's new drama on Fx. Like the hosts really enjoyed reading about a double-murder. I also understand I'm probably pretty weird on this one.
Yeah after a long, long time chewing, it turns into a paste. I learned this when I was forced to keep a piece in my mouth for hours beside my mom thought it was disrespectful to some event to go to a trash can.
But yeah, I think all gums do this. Just due to the gum's chemicals mixing with your saliva. All foods do this at some point.
I agree no life is without pain, it's why I think breeding just to have milk or meat is immoral and unethical. I don't want an industrial scale level pain factory that increases global warming because I want a steak or a glass of milk.
A life is not born just to die as a song is not begun just to end, the life itself is the beauty of nature. I don't think a humane way of killing someone or something justifies a life trapped in a machine to be slaughtered when ripe.
I want to make it clear I eat animal products, due to my family wanting it more than I do. I had a meatloaf today of ground beef, I don't claim to be a moral high ground when I clearly am not.
But I don't think that even if the death is humane, the purpose of life is not be a product to be sold, for humans, cattle, pigs, dogs, cats, horses, fish, bears, etc. I would object if humans were in the same placement.
In the end they are still killed when its not worth the time of the farmers. You're either killed for meat, or killed when you're done making milk.
It might be more humane, but the better option is "Don't breed animals just to kill them in a few years." It's better but the solution for ending the pain is preventing it ever happening in the first place.
In other words; 9 out of 10 Republicans are drunk on propaganda and cult shit that they can't look in a mirror and not see Trump.
Shit like this is why it's not worth your time trying to reason with someone who never used reason to get them into the same positions in life. They'll die fuming holding their Trump hats made in China before admitting they were wrong once.
"Hey as I'm being hired here, I want everyone to know that I have general anxiety disorder and bipolar disorder. I'm disclosing this to have proper accommodation, per state and federal law."
"Noted."
"Hey my depression and anxiety is really high today, I can't get out of bed and I fear everyone around me wants to attack me. Sorry for calling in 5 hours before my shift, but I can't."
"Well you're supposed to come in today, no one else can. Take your meds."
If you ever consider walking onto the highway next to your job to not be at work, leave the job. Fuck that company.
Deeply wanted to scream that each shift during the final weeks of my employment at a gas station.
Lie after lie, labor violation after labor violation, being gaslit day two of my employment. I still wish and hope that the owner of the store, Katie, keels over and dies.
And I've informed other employees (whenever I've had the misfortune of needing to step inside) about the violations of whats happening, and to report them. No idea if anyone does or even listens to me. I just try to make them know they are pawns.
She didn't campaign in certain states, and added fuel to the Trump dumpster fire because it made her look better in comparison. And Trump claimed he would help the states she ignored, talking big game in the Rust Belt to "Make America Great Again".
It really was a "slam dunk" in making sure the biggest dipshit running for president win because you just assumed you'd win.
Fixed!
