Pretty shitty of GoFundMe to allow that type of collection, too. "Please help us force people to sleep on the streets".

Talk shows and podcasts rarely need video. I often prefer podcasts because they're made for audio, rather than similar style videos where they seem to want to do something visual just because they can, not because it enhances the experience.

Work meetings don't need video either, especially not a video feed of every single participant.

Need to use up all your storage before you feel a need to pay for more.

A bit annoyed about defederations and community blocks. If an instance wants to be an island by itself, fine, but you shouldn't have to stay up to date with random announcements from each instance to figure out all the places you need to have an account to access all the content you want to.

That's still just $36.5 million a year, that should be the daily rate for a company the size of Facebook.

Or maybe investing in public healthcare, education and welfare, reduce the causes of crime and violence, stand stronger together, but that requires caring about someone who's not yourself.

Meaning anti-bird spikes should be banned and removed, because all it does is cause more environmental pollution.

Chances are they'll be a starving criminal or a homeless person who the police will be spending their limited time and resources on abusing, because they'll be growing up in the families without the means to travel for healthcare.

Animal feed is a huge category, vs. almonds. Almonds registering on that scale is what's so shocking about it.

Edit: Not that it isn't wasteful, if you need extra feed besides grazing, you're in trouble ecologically.

Is it really fasting, if it includes sleeping? It's basically just skipping breakfast (and not having brunch). Or not eating 4 hours before you go to bed. Or two hours either side.
