We got here because Harris cared more about continuing the genocide than beating Trump. It's Democrats' fault for choosing to lose. He only got 49.9% of the vote, after all.

I've hated Reddit since back when shitredditsays was in its hay day (even though I was also an incessent poster) and after they banned the Chapo subreddit I retreated to only really using a few local subreddits to keep track of local news.

Unless Tesla gets bailed out I don't expect it to survive much longer, consumers already don't want his badly built and overpriced swastikars anymore, and this is yet another blow to the company. Musk leaving the government won't save Tesla from itself.

Trump threatening to take away Musk's government contracts is pretty serious for a smokescreen. Even the threat of doing this could destroy the companies, even if he never intended to follow through.

It's going to end up on the servers of anyone willing to pay. Facebook, Google, OpenAI, etc. Probably lots of countries too, Saudi Arabia and Israel and Qatar and whoever gives Trump another flying palace or whatever.

Russia might buy the data, but let's not pretend they're even the worse offenders here.

As to printing money, Zimbabwe had a lot of other problems besides printing too much money. It was a young post-colonial nation that was struggling to break away from dependency on the colonial metropoles, they had massive crop failure, and colonial banks wouldn't lend them money. Their inflation has a lot of causes beyond just too much money printing.

Printing money just increases liquidity and velocity of money, it doesn't actually increase the amount of wealth a society has. Canada wouldn't become richer just because it printed more money, it would just be a redistribution of wealth.

But Canada is not Zimbabwe. It could certainly stand to print a little bit more money for the hospitals, and redistributing wealth to the hospitals would create economic value and actually benefit society. People living longer and healthier lives creates more demand for money, which in turn counters inflation.

I already said? It's clear that Biden never gave Ukraine enough military assistance to win, we all seem to agree on that, and there's only a couple explanations for that.

There's things people have said. Lloyd Austin said; “we want to see Russia weakened to the degree that it can’t do the kinds of things that it has done in invading Ukraine.” The Security Council said they wanted, “to make this invasion a strategic failure for Russia.”

And then there's the arms trade. The US has used this war as an opportunity to pull countries away from Russian arms trade and into the US/NATO sphere instead, switching over supply lines to benefit Western arms manufacturers. This war has the arms trade booming. Why would they ever want the war to end?

And then they blew up the Nordstream pipeline to keep the war going and make Europe more dependent on US gas.

But I'm sure the US are the good guys and they're just trying their best! 😇
