What the hell are you talking about? The comparison is between the US college protest being like the Vietnam protest, not between the conflicts in Vietnam and Gaza which are nothing alike. This is a politically coming of age of a new generation of protesters, and the political establishment dug themselves into a position that these protesters will never accept. This may be Biden's downfall because there's no chance he'll give up his full support of Israel and the occupation.
It's an apt comparison. A good majority of young people want the destruction of Gaza to stop but the president won't have it. If young people don't go to vote for Biden in November, this will be the reason. This effect becomes stronger and stronger the longer this goes on. It absolutely can define the generation that is now growing up into politics

Define too long. I like videos of up to 20 minutes. That's long to some people. Occasionally I'll enjoy longer videos but almost always I think to myself "you could have said the same in a much shorter video". If you're coming up on an hour or more, you should really look at that script again. And I won't even open the 4 hours bullshit rambling videos. Do people actually watch that or is it just on in the background?
I hate it because I watch it but don't enjoy it at all. It just wastes my time. It's addictive but not in the good way like a video game that draws you in, but in the "help I can't control myself" kind of way. FUCK THE ALGORITHM

OP is using this to say Israelis don't support the genocide, but they overwhelmingly do. That's why there will be another war a few years down the road, Netanyahu or no. No, they mean fuck Israel. It can only exist as a Jewish state because all non-Jews have been stripped of their rights. Make it a secular state with equal rights for everyone, or allow the Palestinians their own state with no Israeli occupation. The current situation is straight up apartheid
Even worse when you realize it's the job of these journalists to tell people there's a whole world out there. The general public may not know about this, but if you're a journalist making these claims, they should know better
