Bad area, ceiling leaks, noise all night from the railyard, recent mouse infestation despite two visits from an exterminator, pipes intermittently stop working, pretty sure something is fucked with the electric bill, rent just went up 100$. And it's still one of the cheapest places I can find.
The long and short of it is that a certain poster insisted that their gender was 'dragonfucker', and that they fucked the gender of 'dragons'. For obvious reasons not everyone was onboard with this, but the Blahaj admins decided that it wasn't up for discussion. Unfortunately, they decided that what wasn't up for discussion was up to, and including, the very existence of dragons. That's the lore of it.
In an admittedly bitter conversation about the whole debacle several months later on another instance, the top Blahaj admin (who was not involved in the conversation) saw that I still denied the existence of dragons, and decided to permaban me from Blahaj for that terrible crime, notwithstanding that I hadn't even posted on Blahaj since the debacle in any case. That's the personal story.
New York mayoral races are notoriously unpredictable due to the city’s chronically low turnout. In 2017, for example, Bill de Blasio won reelection with only 14% of registered voters coming out to support him.
Damn, my hopes for Mamdani just got even higher. Low turnout under ordinary circumstances give high-enthusiasm candidates an advantage, by that enthusiastic base's relative size to the ordinarily voting electorate.
Honestly, if someone decided to execute me for any of my behavior in Middle School, I'd take my punishment without complaint. It'd be a just sentence tbqh
Ah, yes, when the DNC forged millions of votes to make Sanders lose. Twice.
Fuck's sake. Show up for the primaries next time, goddamn you.
