So far Corsair hasn't let me down. I'm sure someday they will, but everything I've gotten from them has been good quality, but maybe it's gone down hill since I haven't had to get any parts in the last few years.
Licensing is still not the best. I buy most of my ebook volumes through kobo books. So far everything I have wanted to buy has been on there, but your mileage my vary, since there isn't a real "one stop shop".
Outside of my slice of life romcoms, the one I'm most looking forward to this season is Helck: Shortly after the Demon King is defeated by the human hero, the demon realm holds a tournament to find the strongest demon to be their new leader. The twist is that a human hero shows up and starts crushing the competition. When asked about it he says he hates the humans, but the demons running the tournament can't help but think he's there to sabotage the event.
You aren't Red Hat's target customer. Their target is a large corporation that not only wants to pay for official support, but often needs to thanks to regulations or the like.
That sounds fantastic! Thankfully I am a remote worker, but I would love to bike to do everything I can't do at home. I seem to be in a very car-centric area, but they are expanding bike lanes.
I think you might just not be interested in federated services. The whole point is that it's a network of independent services, not a single unified platform. For some people that works well and for others it doesn't. The fediverse solution would be to create a new account on an instance that federates with both instances, but you're probably going to end up playing whack-a-mole until things settle down and I don't blame anyone for not wanting to do that.
I feel like instead of recreating grunge a lot of the kids just rediscovered Nirvana, but I'm interested to see if anyone has found some acts I just haven't heard of.
Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End and Delicious in Dungeon for me. Both manga are outstanding fantasy that aren't isekai and I think will translate really well to being animated.

I hope they can get set up on f-droid or something sooner rather than later, as I don't want to have to manually install and update apks
