  • I wonder if this is gender or industry or country. I'm in government info tech and we are pretty tolerant of single line emails stating an undecorated answer or solution

Or perhaps we're not but I don't hear about it due to being male, tall, and grey haired

  • I just watched the megalag videos on the glasses — the first episode of three — and the claim is they cut out confusing areas of colour that abnormal chromats see.

So if it worked, it only works for people with abnormal versions of one of the three normal colour vision sensors, and only if their deficiency is in green, and then only if it's the correct degree of deficient

    But it doesn't work anyway.

The glasses help people see the number in some sheets in the colourblindness test, but hide the number in others. Their colour blindness would appear slightly worse than reality.

  • Loads of people are suspicious of coupon schemes. They look dodgy. It's no wonder that people come along after one of these schemes turns out to actually be a scam to say "see, I knew these things were bad" with the only evidence being that they never subscribed to it

Their fault is they claim it was this one specifically

  • Or that the guy wasn't good at bombs. If it has been filled with ANFO they would have been identifying victims from tiny parts and investigating by video evidence. Many in the hotel would have been killed

  • While parked if the car no longer detects a key it locks. It's still easy to open from inside. Emergency services can gain entry with an angle grinder

I'm sure during a collision they unlock

In this case I think the key went offline due to the explosion

  • I keep hearing that they keep falling apart and catching fire, yet no one links pictures. I have seen exactly one out of the 27 thousand that is claimed to have had a battery fire and looks like it did.

  • With military experience he'd know a little about fuel air explosives. Powerful fireworks are sufficient for making such a bomb, though they're technically difficult (you need to trigger the second trigger explosion after the first has spread out the fuel enough to detonate)

I think he was expecting (in Marvin the Martian's words) an earth shattering kaboom but didn't do it right

Done right the amount of fuel would have done serious damage - all the energy released in the fire would have been released instantaneously, with a shock wave

  • Tesla is publicly traded and has a board of directors. I believe Musk has more than half the votes though

SpaceX is privately owned by him and Gwynne Shotwell only serves as COO because Musk is happy with her in that role

  • You can make guesses about whether the two 1 January attacks with light trucks hired through Turo one by an ex soldier, the other by an active service soldier who both served in Afghanistan at the same time and who both were deployed to the same base in America at the same time, are related

Or you could try attributing it to a political statement by a suicidal soldier who doesn't like Elon Musk's influence on Trump

Or nothing, just wait for more certain information once the investigation is finished
