  • Wow, it's a good thing he stopped before hitting that lake

  • Before playing the game, the participants sniffed either female tears or a saline solution

Why would they not include male tears in the test?

  • There are already Lemmy instances that don't allow downvotes, like beehaw, so defederating seems kind of silly.

  • Not sure why you mentioned chiropractors, I thought this was about scientific things.

  • No Toes comes in at the most states with 25, including Texas, and the highest population at 139 million. Second is Animal Toes with 11 states and 93 million people, California being a big help there. Florida and New York help get the seven Toes states into 3rd with 75 million, and the last seven Shoes states, with no highly populous states, come in at 27 million.

Not saying this is all that would determine the winner of a war, I just wanted to see what the numbers look like.

  • For a passing grade - the easy way to calculate it is by calculating the chance of failing and then subtracting it from 1. To fail, you need to get the first two questions wrong (3/4 times 3/4) and then get them both wrong again on the second try (2/3 times 2/3 since you are choosing from the remaining 3 choices for each). So 3/4 x 3/4 x 2/3 x 2/3 = 1/4 or 25%, so you have a 75% chance of passing.

  • A scandal involving a gate owned by Bill Gates would be called Gates' gate-gate.

  • Yeah, seems like it.

  • Stop on the L and wiggle around a little before moving to the O.

  • Thanks, I was confused by the grammar.

  • Look a ledgers?

  • I finally deleted my account last week. The only thing I really miss from Twitter is the "loud noise over New York" example in the article - being able to look up something happening right now and see what people are saying about it.
