  • I am not in the loop with reddit's excuses but from the posts around here it seems like the mods are asked to review any post with the word Luigi to check if it encourages violence. I guess this is because they think that if enough people rally behind Luigi, the same situation can happen. Reddit wants to avoid stochastic terrorism against CEOs, as expected.
