Israeli strikes flatten buildings, mosques in Gaza

I'm not selective. They had firm borders offered to them by the country in control of the territory at the time. Then they were attacked by bordering countries multiple times. Those countries lost. And yes Israel received help. Just like Ukraine now. And you should really look at how that military aid works. None of what I said was untrue.
Palestine has never been a recognized country. You are showing your ignorance. Prior to 1948 it was controlled by the British. Prior to that, controlled by the surrounding countries.
Flattening places that are used to bomb them? I'd say just about any country is guilty of that. If Russia starts launching missiles from hospitals will we then be angry at Ukraine for taking out that hospital? Or is this a lifehack that all generals should take note of?
Have you ever actually read a bit of history on that region beyond the comments on reddit? Like the 3 days war, the Yom kippur war, the peace talks? Seriously? Palestine has had so many opportunities to form their own country. But won't even start if it requires accepting Israel as an independent state as well.
Israelis have certainly become more cruel and jaded as the years have gone on. But this isn't two kids on a playground. This is a stable adult trying to barter with a belligerent drunk cousin who says if he can't inherit everything then he'll just burn it all to the ground and take the ashes.
They didn't huh? Ignorant huh? So wait, when the area was partitioned by the British, and the Zionists said "yep, we'll take it." But the Palestinians said no, because all these surrounding countries have said they'll drive all the Jews in the sea to kill them all, and those countries did attempt that, twice, and failed, and then in all of the peace talks, the Palestinians said no to any plan that required Israel also be recognized as a state, that was Israel starting it? Stfu. You know nothing. Go look up the three days war and the Yom kippur war. See why the "disputed" territories are under Israeli control. Go read about which side walked out on the peace talks. Or read about the many years those territories were controlled by Egypt and Jordan and could have easily been formed as independent countries then by Jordan and Egypt. But they wouldn't permit it.
The truth is, Israel has had to fight for survival from the moment of its inception.
Then, ask yourself what would happen if Mexico fired rockets into California at civilians on a regular basis. Or if Albania fired rockets into Italy or Greece.
And let us not ignore that Gaza is the territory that Israel demobilized from and left entirely in the hands of the Palestinian people. And look at how that worked out.
Meh. A competitive monopoly has a better outcome than the near monopoly PS4 got when it came to exclusives. Yeah a lot of existing IP will be for one or the other. But for third party studios, they will be much less likely to make exclusive games if the console market is more balanced between the two. Nintendo is kind of in a world of its own. And with the steam deck helping push PC into a base level standard, I think we might see some opening up of high quality third party stuff.
How is following the laws that Catalunya agreed to using a fascist construct? 95.5% of Catalunyans voted in favor of the constitution that enshrined them as part of Spain. They were given certain autonomous controls, that were later expanded giving them more control and most of the people didn't even bother to vote on it.
So explain to me, how this is fascist? Because I suppose you believe Lincoln was a fascist too then.
I can cite an example of it with an inventory based company. KIA sold their cars at damn near a loss in the US for a long time to get a good foothold. And it worked. Iirc they had a bogo on cars at one point even.
You clearly have no clue what you're talking about. These protests are about people being angry that Sanchez might offer amnesty to those catalunyans who broke the law by having an illegal rather than legal referendum.
Most people didn't support the referendum, it had already been ruled illegal, and only those that were separatist voted.
Again, you do not understand how a multi party parliament works. Sanchez didn't really lose the election. The left wing parties got as many seats as the right wing parties with the junts sitting in the middle as mild king makers (they cannot help the right, they can only cause another election in which they will likely get wiped out).
And again, if Sanchez and the PSOE do not form a government but the PP and Vox do, then Spain will be ruled by an authoritarian ultra right nationalist party that has stated they intend on putting more national police and Guardia civil in Catalunya to prevent even protests.
Yet somehow, in all your political wisdom, are angry that Sanchez might give assistance to the people in trouble for having the referendum and thus he should be ousted so that the fascists can come in to power?
There is a legal path required in the constitution with which Catalunya can have a referendum. It is a high bar and involves support from more than just the people actively living there (as they are currently part of Spain and those Spaniards also have a vested interest in major changes to their country). People should really stop acting like this is some authoritarian regime and that they totally understand this Catalunya situation.
You people cheering on the separatists are also big fans of Brexit right? I'm not in Catalunya so it wouldn't impact me much. Might make my property value go way up as people flee if they did actually leave. But it would be a disaster for them worse than Brexit for the UK. And it is being pushed in a very similar us vs them rhetoric.
Also this title is such US two party centric hyperbolic bullshit. Sanchez has the most likely chance of forming a coalition in a multi party government. Claiming PP won with 32 percent of the vote and should get to rule with the ultra right ultra nationalist Vox because he got more votes than PSOE is a trash take by someone who doesn't realize multi party systems exist in most of the civilized world.
Personally, while I am in Spain, I don't have strong feelings about the amnesty. On the one hand, they knew they were breaking the law and I'm all for corrupt politicians from any party being put in prison. On the other hand, I don't want to see Vox get any bigger as they are far too large already. I would also like the heavy handed cops that got violent during the illegal referendum to be punished as well.
And Hong Kong? Fucking really? You think they are real happy about that choice these days?
Nah this went really bad for them. Even if they do make more, it will almost certainly be short term. Godot got so much free advertising. It firmly sat itself next to unreal as far as who should be choosing it, but it is definitely the inferior engine if you are making AAA. It's going to get cut from the high by unreal and the low from Godot, defold, and even gamemaker.
I don't get this weird apologist attitude. Let us not forget Unity just spent over $4 billion less than a year ago buying the malware ad service ironsource. They are not profitable because they make bad business decisions. This was one more. And in all likelihood we will see the sale of unity before too long. And it will probably be less than the $20 billion offer they had prior to the ironsource purchase.
I would be pissed if I went to monkey attack beach and their was no god damn monkey attacks.
I mean, you've seen her, right? Doesn't she just look guilty for some reason?
Honestly the world was a different place with during Clinton's time. Hell, I think both Georgia and Alabama had democrat governors at the time. I'm half convinced microplastics are as bad as lead and have just fucked our brains up en masse. I'm just hoping if I get dumb enough maybe I can be as happy as my cats.
This is tankie garbage. Syngman Rhee was certainly horrible. But he was not instated. He was voted in. He had a very long history of being in Korean politics. He was certainly given a boost by the Americans. But he was also given a boost by Kim refusing to participate in the elections.
And let us not pretend that the soviets and Chinese involved were just liberators. They had their own political games they were playing and boosted Kim just as much. The elections in the north were completely controlled by the soviets. And you gripe about the presence of American troops, but support the Chinese troops in the north.
The north didn't invade for fun. The north invaded because Kim thought he could have even more power and that the US would not intervene. He was wrong. He would have been completely removed had it not been for the Chinese.
Both sides had imperialistic outside support from corrupt governments. Both sides used totalitarianism to maintain control. One side is currently the most inhumane country on the planet and the other has a modern standard of living. To say the south was worse in a very short time period is ridiculous. In reality, due to the harsh restrictions and cult of personality in the north we do not even really know how bad the north was. The standard of living may have been better, but concerning totalitarian governments it is impossible to say.
You're fucking kidding right? Spanish is the second most spoken language in the US. It is the second largest first language as well. It is the second largest monolingual language.
I'm all for multiculturalism. I'm an immigrant. But let us not live in a pretend world.
So you'd be cool with people doing this in Spanish on Texas and Florida beaches right? And I mean people should definitely never travel to a foreign place without a decent grasp of the local language. Not like world exploration is something that can be a life altering experience. Or could help people empathize with different types of culture. Nope. Everyone should stay in their own little bubble. And honestly that applies to states, districts, etc. Hell even towns. Because Alabama and California are super different and have different customs. But even Houston and Austin Texas are way too different to go into each other's areas without having a firm grasp on local customs. Barcelona and Aragon are so very different that many of them don't even speak the same language. One of my neighbors and I don't get along real well. Perhaps we should really only stay in our houses.
I mean, I don't play pachinko, but I think it'd be more fun if the balls had the birds on them and you knocked some piggies down as you bounced down the machine or at least knocked them down at the bottom depending on where you landed.
Switch has been out a lot longer and has a bigger company behind it. I don't think anyone ever expected SD to catch up in sales. However, the SD has clearly had an impact on the handheld market. And without tinkering, it functions way more like a console than a full PC.
And I don't know what setup you used for switch emulation, but I've emulated several switch games with perfect success. I certainly mostly play my switch games on switch, but I've put a handful on the deck for travel and it's been great. Along with my 3ds games since my actual 3ds went to electronics heaven.
Show me where I was wrong then.
