Time to shine?
There's always old mate at work who has a good one-liner.
"The shit jobs are the good jobs" (everyone knows it's a rubbish job so they'll cut you some slack)
"Sometimes your the fuckor & sometime your the fuckee"
"Weeeel, that's a shitter"
"Maybe kick this one back to the brains trust"
And so on
I don't have a problem with machine learning.
I have a problem with one company getting x trillion dollars investment. Who pays when the investors want their returns? Eventually it's going to be all of us.
I think the claim is that they can use AI to improve the sound of their headphones if you supply them with images of your ears.
I just dont like them having a database of personally identifying information like that.
You reminded me of the Douglas Adams quote about someone who looked "not merely as if he’d been pulled through a hedge backwards, but as if the hedge was being simultaneously pulled backwards through a combine harvester"
