  • I wore a cast for a while. It healed.

2 decades later and I have a slight gait imbalance and the leg it happened to is slightly stronger (I can tell during squats) from accommodating that.

  • Metatarsals are bones in your feet, they’re numbered.

    The 5th is the outermost.

Theres a tendon that attaches in that area and when my foot fell off the skateboard while landing a kickflip I pogo sticked on the side of my foot and the tendon and bone had an argument about who was stronger … and I guess I got some strong ass tendons

  • Because humans hunted wolves nearly to extinction basically everywhere they exist because they were relatively dangerous to us.

We have made them larger in media and paintings and basically anywhere a wolf is imaged.

“Big bad wolf” is the common idea.

  • Doing that would just lead to all but two or three crunchies thrown up across the floor and then a cat meowing at me for the starvation conditions he lives in.

Idk why I can’t see through his lies…

  • Yeah, my thoughts go more towards a slip and fall and smashing into the side of the mountain rather than a slip and fall to the bottom.

I trust the rope and anchors to keep his body in the air.

He apparently trusts his body to do the rest.

  • I think an ambulance ride on my plan is covered 80% by insurance before my deductible, so I pay 20% out of pocket until I hit my deductible and then they cover it all.

So at most I’d pay $4000, but my neighbor took a ride to the hospital when he fainted and it only cost him a few hundred bucks (obviously our insurance coverage isn’t the same so it’s hard to cover like for like)

The real cost is the nearly $700 a month I pay for insurance just to have insurance to “negotiate” prices for me to pay. My $4000 deductible shakes out to like $8400 a year out of my pay for them privilege of paying “negotiated” prices for the first 4000.

I may end up with a $300 ambulance ride but I w already doled out $8k+ for the luxury of being allowed to only have to pay 20% of that ambulance ride.

  • I’m not creating any narrative.

People are throwing out the claim that he didn’t have a gun and the cops planted it, I’m saying there’s no proof and the family isn’t saying that either.

I’m not supporting the cops killing this kid at all, I get why the dad did what he did too.

It’s just wild that someone can be like “yo I be he didn’t even have a gun and the cops planted it” and my statement that not even the family who saw the video is saying that is in the wrong.

I don’t really need to self reflect on that, tbh.
