I just checked out of curiosity and you're full of crap. Zurich is far more expensive than Tokyo (or any other place in Japan).

Lose the "too" and you might be onto something.

I said "including" rent. The rent alone is about 560USD. I haven't lived in Zurich but I know for a fact that Basel is about twice as expensive.

Afaik Japan is actually kind of cheap. About 1500 per month including rent in Tokyo if this is right.

The overtime thing depends on your actual job. It's not like literally everyone is being exploited.

The proprietary gsync approach with a dedicated hw module is indeed dead and most "g-sync" monitors just use the now pretty common vesa's vrr (aka freesync).

However I did research a bit and found some "gsync pulsar" monitors but none have been released yet, I believe. They do sound like unnecessary overpriced products though. That's Nvidia for ya.

Ray tracing*

RTX is a brand.

Regardless, given the performance impact and how few games actually have ray tracing (implemented correctly), it makes more sense to just disregard ray tracing altoghether.

It's an undercooked technology used to push more expensive products, nothing more.

Regarding dlss vs fsr and xess, yes dlss has better quality but it's also proprietary so I honestly do not care about it. Just like gsync died, dlss will eventually die as well.

As I already said, "american" cheese is called cheddar pretty much everywhere.

It's used in hamburgers all over the world basically and you can purchase it in most supermarkets. In my experience, at least.

I've seen it in at least Japan, Spain, France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Hungary, Argentina and Brazil. It's also always labeled "cheddar" instead of "american".

"american" cheese is called cheddar in pretty much everywhere I've been around the globe.

Cheddar has more calories and fat than mozzarella. It's also more processed and has more additives.

It won't. That's simply not possible for an organism as large and complex as a human being. You can watch this for a more detailed explanation.

You misunderstood. They use those monitors when actually working in a stationary place with their desktop setup. However, it's very common to then have to go to your client's office to show them said work or discuss future steps. At which point having multiple port options comes in handy if you have to plug in to a tv, monitor or projector.

You can't seriously consider asking for hdmi and displayport on a laptop a "specific need".

A couple more ports wouldn't make your laptop "chonky".
