A few years ago I had a virus on my computer(Windows)(the virus was definitely my fault) and decided to put a wallet with almost 1k USD on it. It got sucked straight out and through a mixer, never to be seen again. Some lessons you have to learn the hard way :(

Exactly, and I'd imagine reddit does this already, but for other reasons like reports.

Weird. My last setup had a NAT with a few VMs hosting a few different services. For example, Jellyfin, a web server, and novnc/vm. That turned out perfectly fine and it was exposed to the web. You must have had a vulnerable version of whatever web host you were using, or maybe if you had SSH open without rate limits.

Plus I'd imagine reddit keeps edit history.

Go to FMHY list and open as many options as possible, so you can switch to a different one if one craps out.

So you don't want to be a target of intrusive marketing and data collection but are ok with the everyday person being one? FUTO wants to create software that "just works" while still completely respecting the consumer's rights. Not everybody has the time to troubleshoot issues or test out different foss products, and this is why proprietary software is so popular today.
