They do. Also you can play the pirated version online, there's no DRM. Good on you for buying it though, it's the kind of game it's good to support

The account looks more real. A ten year reddit account with a bunch of real comments and 100k karma looks like a human being, so when they post something like "Razer mice have really gotten amazing over the past couple years! I have the new Naga and I couldn't live without it" on the PC gaming subreddit, there's a higher chance that looks like a real recommendation from a real human than a paid ad.

It's the same game with the same microtransactions and the same community and the same devs. It's totally valid to leave your negative review on Steam. Nothing he said is fixed by launching the game through steam, lol.

There's a voice acting slider for Disco Elysium, what are you on about? You can also set the VA to "classic" and have the same experience as before the developers added VA to the game.

Most importantly, GOG as a storefront does not allow DRM. If you buy a game on GOG and keep the installer around (on a drive that's regularly backed up), you'll always have the ability to play that game even if GOG's servers die.

My gf and I had the exact same use case, and decided on Galaxy A7 Lite tablets. They're perfect for exactly what we want to use them for, which is reading ebooks through ReadEra and reading manga/comics through Tachiyomi. $120 at Amazon.

You get what you pay for - the browser and even some of the UI is a little crunchy, but watching YouTube Revanced or streaming from our Jellyfin server work just fine, and for reading it's perfect.

There are some programs where this isn't true thanks to Apple's M1 chip design not being compatible natively with x64/x86 applications. But most emulator projects support the M1.

On Intel Macs this is always true.

You can still run all the emulators in developer mode. you just have to switch back to the walled-garden mode if you want to play actual xbox games.

You don't need the steam store to play games on the steam deck, it's a PC. they even have EmuDeck to make it seamless with your steam library.

You're not looking for "physical". You're looking for "DRM-free".
