I think they understood "liberal" to mean "classical liberal" which obviously would have the issue they point out. But FT seems to be using "liberal" to mean "progressive" or something like that.

I won't say the people who took the picture (especially not Musk in the tweet) have good intentions but whatever economic system we live in, we need people to work to meet each other's needs e.g take care of older people though? Kids will be demanded by any system.

I keep tabs open as a sort of "read page later" list. I never seem to get to reading them though.

I meant that there is nothing inherent to dogs that makes them pets and not for eating, while livestock are for eating. They are both just animals, people should be consistent in either having empathy for all such animals or not at all.

I dont see any reason why you cant raise some livestock as pets. People already keep pigs as pets.
