  • I didn't realize until my mid 20s that having a house without pictures and wall hanging is weird. It was also when I learned that if you don't have enough lighting it makes a home feel like a mausoleum.

The answer as to what a person should put on their walls depends on how based a person is or how much they don't care about what others think.

If you want to get non-traditional with it, hang up movie posters, collages, video game posters, etc. Whatever you like and like to look at.

If you go traditional and normal, then art is a fantastic idea. Go to your local thrift store and find old art that they have. Local estate sales are also good.

Personally, I love to commission a painting or two from the artist themselves. Etsy and fiverr painters love to make custom art of whatever you want if you have the money. You're looking at spending anywhere from $10 to a few hundred depending on the size you want.

It's always fun having a painting of your pet remade in the style of Edvard Munch

  • Breakups will always hurt. Sometimes you can never get over a relationship fully.

As couples become as one, separating is always a life-changing experience.

All you can do is keep on moving. So long as you are able to put one foot in front of the other, you can keep moving on in a healthy way.

  • Some of those frozen meals are cheaply made and have ingredients that are not necessarily the best for your body.

Those meals are sometimes REALLY high in nitrates. Those can cause some issues for your gut biome.

  • You can use uBlock Origin on mobile in the Firefox nightly build.

In the nightly build, you get to use pretty much all addons from desktop.

  • What's sad is that I've always been a huge Google supporter but they keep on moving in a direction that I'm no longer comfortable with.

I'm also a certified Google proctor, which allows me to officially tutor and troubleshoot problems with anything Google.

I just don't see myself ever using that skillet in the future due to the current assault on its users' privacy from Google.

  • I have a friend who does "Van life"

He's disabled, so he gets a little money in. He uses that income to rent out a parking lot space if he's in the city or camping space in the country.

From the sounds of it, camping spaces are the best as they have hygiene facilities open most of the year.

  • Something's got to give out eventually?

There's no way those tactics are sustainable,

  • I'm not Christian, but I did study Christian mythology while working on my doctorate in philosophy.

There are several near universal signs that a person is the Anti-Christ

✅ Religious Leader - As I pointed out, MAGA is arguably a fanatic cult within the Christian belief system

✅ Come in the name of Jesus - He literally used his power as president to take a picture of himself in front of a church with a bible while people were protesting him. He also likens himself to Jesus whenever he faces the consequences of his actions, like one of his impeachments.

✅ Preforming 'miracles' - He has falsely taken credit for miracles of modern technology, like the quickness of the successful COVID vaccine, predicting the paths of weather phenomenon, and even gender equality in the work force.

✅ He will be elected to a place of great leadership and use his 'power' to change laws and 'fix' a broken society - See the year 2016 through 2020

❌ Denies Jesus existed IRL - He's not outright said it, but due to his actions, he does not act like a believer in Christian mythology

✅ Rejects the laws of the Christian god - Through his actions and inaction, he does not live by the laws of Christianity. His violations range from divorces, hurting others, to being incredibly wealthy... The list goes on and on.

✅ Persecute Christians - The whole point of the MAGA Republicans and its propaganda is to target people who are Christians and make them bend to the will of Trump.

  • They took the tactic from modern day Christian televangelism.

They use Trump as the focus of a belief system

They twist the old and outdated morality of hyper patriotism and conservative values. They do this in order to cherry-pick rules and laws to form a grotesque dogma that bares little resemblance to the original intention of said laws and morality.

They then use the twisted dogma to manipulate the population. They do this by feeding into the fears of poverty, 'evil', xenophobia, and racism. Then they offer solutions to those issues so long as they tithe (donate money), worship, and "spread the good news."

The solutions offered are wildly unrealistic… Free money for loyalty? Killing a whole group of people?

Unless your name is Israel, those solutions are obviously a farce to anyone with even the smallest amount of situational awareness and common sense.

That's why a lot of the Trump propaganda dulls the common sense and attempts to rewrite the memory of others using memes and obvious lies.

You have to essentially hypnotize people into believing that they are being oppressed, attacked, and that everyone but those a part of the belief system are evil baby-eaters.

One of the major reasons that fundamental Christians and the tea party generation are such numerous Trumpism supporters…

The hard work of brainwashing them was already done by another religion. All the MAGA leaders had to do was swap out one god for another.

It worked for ancient Rome, and it's working here.

  • Anything made by or connected to Nestle for sure

They have a lot of blood on their hands.

  • Describing something as akin to "blockbuster" makes me think of failure.

    I guess I'm old.

  • I learned perl to make IRC bots and to customize bulletin boards in the late 90s, early aughts.

I owe a lot to that language as it impressed a woman with my skills in it. I got my first marriage and eldest son out of it.

  • That is a life changing program up there with 7zip, gimp, and notepad++

Its hard to find a better paid replacement

  • It would be pure foolishness to trust Reddit and its management.

In the future, they will be seen by all in a somewhat similar light of failure emitted by Twitter

  • This issue was AWESOME, but the hype train for next issue goes "choo, choo!"

  • Its immoral for the way its being done, not what was done.

  • You can get a fresh batch of 50 or so stolen credit cards on darket for less than $20 in stolen XMR

    This won't prevent a thing.

  • Fark.com is a really great news agitator and community

It's similar but different to Lemmy and Reddit in many significant and interesting ways

  • It has non-ad settings, like intro, outro, recap, etc.

Be sure to check your settings, as not just adverts are on by default.

If it's not that, make sure to "thumbs down" the skip when it pops up as that helps the system as a whole.

  • The Firefox "Nightly" build is the best if you want total freedom of addons, scripting, etc.

I love it because I can use "desktop only" addons like SponsorBlock, which blocks sponsors (Norton, clash of clans, etc) automatically and Enhancer for YouTube, which lets you do anything from changing fonts to blocking end cards.

Not only that it lets you use YouTube even if your phone is locked, which is a highly sought after premium feature.
