Debatable.

Because they don't care about the truth, they believe in gun bans based solely on their emotions. They're only going to bring suffering upon themselves and those they love by refusing to examine their beliefs and check their emotions.

Don't sweat them too much. There's ultimately nothing they could do to take anyone's weapons away; any meaningful gun ban would trigger the right wing into violence and cause a civil war, and they know that.

Good God, you people completely miss the point of the meme. It's just a joke and you all are treating it like a serious debate on the value of correcting other people's grammar like that debate isn't simply a smokescreen for bullies selfishly taking out their emotions on others as it always has been.

The apps can literally just use AIs to pretend to be real people convincingly to get people to pay for a premium membership to presumably be able to arrange a meetup. After they pay for premium, they're ghosted, and it's too late to get their money back.

So, how should people find mates? Obviously these stupid apps don't work and the chance encounter system we use in western societies don't, and neither do the marriage-as-transaction systems societies used centuries ago, or the subjugation of any one gender. So how should we ensure most people who want a mate get one?

I get that what he's trying to do, it's just his actions are self-defeating. The only reason the behavior on social media has violent consequences is because he's imposing them; no one else in that story is killing people based on meaningless Facebook polls. They only matter because he makes them matter. He causes the problems he thinks he is solving.

Also he assumes his actions will make people reconsider their choices and change, which they won't because people for the most part aren't capable of change. Most people don't have the ability to do so. Those who do deliberately refuse to because they're happy the way they are regardless of their true nature's consequences to other people.

It's just a stupid gimmicky show pretending to be deep to get views. That's all.

That's their problem, especially with a show like Black Mirror for which the whole point is to make people think

A typical and predictable response from someone selfish and immature enough to knowingly do nothing about serious and exploitable bugs on a platform they choose to be wholly dependent on for online discourse. And they expect people to blindly go along with it simply because they did.

If we were on a spaceship, and I was telling you about serious air leaks in the hull, would you look at me and tell me to my face "Feel free to leave" as you suffocate? Or would you go patch the holes?

I have no fucking idea but it only makes sense there would be one, if there truly was no bigotry behind their original names.

Counterpoint: Mentally ill people have the same rights as everyone else and therefore can't be locked up without a criminal conviction, no matter how annoying their symptoms may be.
